Aww, after spending time with them and discovering their individual personalities, you'll be giving them suitable names I bet!

You will be looking forward to fresh eggs soon then, you can't beat walking down the garden to gather eggs, coming indoors and frying one ! they also taste better than bought free range eggs i think.

Re: My lovely girls
Your children will love fetching the eggs, might be nice for the children also to have some corn in their hands so the chickens can get to know them.Once this is established the chickens will come to greet them everytime they go down the garden.

Hi AngelBearTheFirst! Welcome to the forum!!
I still love finding the eggs in the nest box each day although half of my girls are going through a moult so we're low on egg production at the mo.
