Hello from the zoo!!!

Hello from the zoo!!!
Hi there, found this site through some Googling and thought it looked like my kind of place!!
We have 5 chickens (as well as 2 dogs, a cat, dozens of fish and 5 hamsters; hence the name!!) and have been chicken keepers for about 6 months, although my family had chickens when I was a child.
We have Molly and Marigold the Welsummers, Muriel and Maggie the Light Sussex's and Margot the Black Rock. Our chooks were rehomed from a friend of mine who had two pens but too many chickens, and Molly had had some bad bullying problems and was living on her own :-(
So we took Molly and a couple from each pen and made a new flock! They have settled in very well, although Molly has some problems (which I shall ask about in the clinic, the reason I was googling chicken things in the first place!) I don't have any photo's on this computer, I must get them from the other computer onto photobucket for a proper introduction!
Looking forward to lots of chickeny talk, and sound advice!!
Karen xx

Re: Hello from the zoo!!!
Hi Karen!
Welcome to the world of chickens! Sounds like you have a right menagerie!
Looking forward to seeing some pics of your girls soon. There's a gallery section on the forum where you can post pics.
Best wishes,
Chantelle
