ham,cheese and eggy bread
I love this on a cold winters day,it really warms you up.
ingredients:
8 slices white bread
butter for spreading on the bread
4 slices of ham
50g/2oz sliced cheese of your liking
5 eggs
salt and pepper
3 tbsp oil for frying
recipe:
1. Spread the slices of bread on one side with a butter, then make four ham and cheese sandwiches . Beat the eggs with salt and pepper. Dip two sandwiches in the egg, letting it soak in a little.
2. Heat half the oil in a large non-stick frying pan, then add the sandwiches to the hot frying pan. Cook for 3 mins until golden, then carefully turn over with a spatula. Cook for a further 3 mins or until golden on the base.
3. Transfer to a plate and keep warm. Repeat to make the remaining sandwiches in the same way,hey presto a warming meal.

Mmmm, sounds delicious! I'm veggie but I could substitute the ham for cheat meat!
