Lonely hen.

Post  Lizziebits on Tue Jul 08, 2014 2:02 pm

I am having to (naturally) get rid of my hens. Obviously this has been over a long while! Through a mix of old age and ailments, I am now down to one. I have her out of her large, fenced in area up at the house with me where she can go in an out of the back door and be with me in the office area whilst I work. I do worry about her though on the days where this is not possible. Does anyone have hints or tips to enhance the wellbeing of my lonesome Mrs. Cluck? She has been very vocal when she has seen her reflection in the past, but would a mirror help? Advice gladly welcomed please.
