4 new additions due on 10th May!

Post  cheekychook on Fri May 02, 2008 12:19 pm

I have 4 new girls due to arrive on the 10th May to join my existing 6 hens!!!

I've chosen 2 Light Sussex, 1 Bluebelle and 1 Blackrock.

Anyone else getting some more hens soon?

Well it's been just over 2 weeks now since my newbies arrived and they're like little children, constantly getting into trouble, pecking everything in sight.

They're finally going to bed in the same coop now with the other girls but still get a bit of hassle from them particularly when there are treats to be had! Rolling Eyes

I had my first egg from them about a week ago which was just a bit bigger than a creme egg then a few days later we had an even smaller egg which was a touch bigger than the chocolate mini eggs! I don't know if I can bring myself to eating it, it's really cute! lol!
